LANDSCAPE NUR ABDILLAH MOSQUE | ANYER

A landscape project located in Cinangka, Anyer, Banten, facing directly toward the Sunda Strait. The site sits between the presence of the mosque, the tropical garden, and the wide horizon of the sea. Rather than treating the landscape as a foreground, the design frames it as a quiet transition between worship, nature, and coastal life. Layers of palms, shaded planting, stone paving, and light canopy structures create a soft rhythm that guides movement across the site. From the mosque, the view opens toward the ocean, allowing air, light, and distance to become part of the spatial experience. In this project, the landscape does not only complete the building. It becomes a contemplative ground where silence, prayer, and the sea meet.
