Sate Senopati is an interior and façade renovation project for an Indonesian satay restaurant located at Blok C, Jalan Senopati, South Jakarta. The design builds its atmosphere from the narrative of Nusantara, translating local craft, warm materials, and familiar spatial gestures into a contemporary dining experience. Wood, rattan, terracotta tones, patterned textiles, and layered ceiling forms are arranged to create a space that feels rooted, warm, and refined. Rather than presenting tradition as ornament alone, the project uses cultural references as part of the spatial composition, from the seating rhythm to the wall treatment and decorative elements. Through this approach, the restaurant becomes a place where food, memory, and Indonesian identity meet in a calm and welcoming interior.
